Abstract: 
This research will document the experiences of supporters affected by an immigration worksite enforcement operation in the city of Paris, Texas. Analysis will focus on the challenges experienced by supporters as they tried to help victims of an immigration raid cope with the multiple effects of a raid. This research will be interdisciplinary drawing on participatory methods, psychological perspectives of trauma, and anthropological theories about the threat of deportability and accompaniment/acompañamiento
