A message from the Dean of the Honors College

Dear Honors Student,

Thank you for your patience as our team continues to work intensely to ensure the successful continuity of your educational endeavors. Your health and safety are our top priority, as you can surely see reaffirmed in President Smatresk’s message earlier today.

We put resources in place to facilitate learning through alternative delivery methods – please take advantage of http://LearnAnywhere.unt.edu. You should know, specifically, that all honors courses will be delivered online. For those conducting undergraduate research or independent studies, your mentor will work directly with you. Students working on honors theses will have the opportunity to defend online (more details to come soon), and honors contracts will have extra flexibility.

The Honors College and all of UNT are committed to the health and safety of everyone in our community.  Our whole team, including our academic advisors, will continue to provide high quality services so that you can succeed in achieving academic goals.

With optimism and best wishes,

Glênisson de Oliveira, Ph.D.
Dean of TAMS and the Honors College
