Apply for graduation through the UNT Registrar and schedule an Honors College Graduation Check with an Honors Academic Advisor.

The Honors College Medallion Ceremony

The Honors College Medallion Ceremony celebrates Honors College members who are graduating with Honors College Awards. The Fall 2026 Medallion Ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Murchison Performing Arts Center with graduates arriving at 5:30 PM. Honors College members who are eligible to receive an award at the 2026 Fall Medallion ceremony will be notified by the Honors College Advisors prior to the event. 

Students graduating with an Honors College Award are encouraged to respond to specific requests through emails from the Honors College. If you have not received an email regarding Fall graduation and Honors College Awards by the end of October 2026 and believe you qualify for one, please contact your Honors College Advisor.

Commencement Ceremonies

Students who plan to complete degree requirements in December 2026 must apply for graduation at https://registrar.unt.edu/apply-degree-conferral-graduation-commencement.html. Please adhere to the deadlines! If you miss the deadline for graduation, please reach out to your Major advisor.
