Abstract:
Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is an asymptomatic cancer; 80-90% of cases remain undetected until advanced stages. Our patented -microthermal sensor(MTS), Seebeck coefficient(SC) 8.46-8.86 μV/oC, identified thermal markers as statistically significant thermal conductivity(TC) decreases between normal and malignant tumors of epithelial origin, lacked statistical significance between primary site tumor and its malignant tumor, yet continued trend of decreasing TC. We explore redesign options for optimal SC-MTS sensitivity to address EOC early detection. My collaboration with MTS redesign researchers TAMS Samuel McCaulley and postbaccalaureate, Parsa Afkhami Rohani, applies Statistical Model analyses that assess, dictate and reveal optimization options leading to increased SC.
