A fault-tolerant sensing network was created to study sensing and processing networks. A two-dimensional array would organize the input through various sensors and the sensor network would connect sensor nodes to detect a variety of information which includes heat, pressure, and motion. The secondary nodes would be put in place if the primary failed through the idea of redundancy as each primary sensor had a backup node.
