The nature of this research involves determining the elasticity change of liver using Effective Bulk Modulus Elastography (EBME) techniques. Ultrasonography is a noninvasive diagnostic imaging technique that provides unique information about the structure of soft tissues. In contrast to conventional methods, EBME requires no external deformation force and examines dynamic elasticity values instead of static ones. Existing ultrasonic scans can detect regions of altered stiffness within tissues, but often do not yield definitive results. This research will create larger contrast to help distinguish between varying molecular viscoelasticity, thus providing more detailed images and improving early diagnosis of organ damage/ disease.
