Adaptive Coping, Forgiveness and Subjective Well-Being Among College StudentsAbstract:
Subjective well-being (SWB) is one aspect of positive psychology that focuses on optimal positive human functioning. Recent research has found that positive adaptive coping, positive religious coping, and forgiveness all contribute to SWB (e.g., Fredericka, Purringtona, & Dunbarb, 2016). However, literature has not yet examined how forgiveness may mediate the effects of adaptive coping and religious coping on SWB. The current study seeks to analyze the direct effects of adaptive coping and religious coping as well as their indirect effects via forgiveness on SWB using a cross-sectional sample of college students.Alma Mater:
