The Honors College welcomes applications from new freshmen and from transfer and continuing UNT students.

The applications for SPRING 2013 and FALL 2013 have reopened.

Applications for FALL 2012 are no longer being accepted.

Freshman applicants be sure to upload a sample of your written work which demonstrates your ability to communicate effectively when submitting your application. You are welcome to submit a paper prepared for class, such as a book review, essay, or research paper. 

Freshman applicants must submit the following:

• A completed application form online
• A previously submitted copy of your high school transcript, along with transcripts for all college work completed, to the UNT Admissions Office
  
• A sample of your written work, which could be a paper you prepared for class, an essay, or any other piece of writing that demonstrates your ability to communicate effectively

Transfer and continuing students 

Current UNT students or transfer students must submit the following:

• A completed application form online
• A previously submitted copy of your transcript from any college or university attended to the UNT Admissions Office
  

The Honors College accepts applications continuously. It takes approximately three weeks to process completed applications and respond to the applicant by regular mail. If you apply to UNT simultaneously, it may take a little longer while we wait to access your transcript(s).
