UNT's location in Denton—a city of about 131,000 people and only 36 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth—means a wealth of job opportunities are available to Honors graduates. CNN Money ranked Denton County as one of the nation’s Top 10 places to live for job potential, and Denton itself was named one of the Top Ten Best College Towns in the nation, with an active live music and art scene.
Our alumni make a big impact on current Honors students. From donating time as volunteers at fundraising events and speaking to classes to supporting scholarships and programs with monetary donations, our community network provides a dynamic energy that propels our students, the Honors College and UNT to do bigger and better things.
